/ Rotman MBA Essentials for Managers Scholarship |
The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto provides a scholarship for one CWC member to participate in its MBA Essentials for Managers program in Toronto.
What is MBA Essentials? MBA Essentials for Managers is a series of eight evening sessions that will introduce you to the study areas at the heart of the Rotman Executive MBA Program. The sessions are led by a selection of Rotman’s world-class faculty members, who offer an academic perspective that is complemented by their experience as consultants, managers and expert advisors to some of the world’s most successful corporations. Collectively, they offer insight into diverse fundamental business areas that are at the core of business decisions. At the end of the program, participants come away with an enhanced awareness of essential management issues, which helps them become more effective leaders, managers and decision makers.

Scholarship Details
The scholarship is open to all CWC members in good standing; however, preference will be given to applicants who have at least five years of work experience and who are at a mid to senior management level in their careers.The scholarship covers the cost of tuition and does not include travel and accommodation expenses.

The deadline for scholarship applications is 4 p.m. (EST), Monday, April 22, 2013.
This year’s scholarship provides one CWC member with a full delegates pass to attend the 2013 Banff World Media Festival.
By attending these events, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Overview of Events
The Banff World Media Festival offers media professionals the chance to network with top executives, pitch ideas, discover new talent and make career-changing deals on an international scale.
The conference features sessions, panels, keynotes, master classes and interviews exploring the issues most strongly affecting the media industry. As well, the festival will feature the Banff World Media Awards, a prestigious international awards competition that recognizes the best work in the industry.

2013 CWC Banff World Media Festival Scholarship Application
The deadline for scholarship applications is 4 p.m. (EST), Monday, April 22, 2013.
One-To-One addresses questions of career advancement and transition
with guidance from CWC’s highly acclaimed career coach, Rodger
Harding. The participant completes a career self-evaluation, followed
by a two-hour private career coaching session (audio taped for future
reference) and follow-up. CWC offers a limited number of scholarships
to its members each month.

This guide has been developed for the CWC membership to support members
