This highly interactive session will discuss key strategies for leveraging diversity and turning it into your most powerful resource. This session will also explore strategies for becoming a culturally-conscious professional which will help you in building and managing professional relationships which value diversity.

Laura Cohen BA, MA

Laura Cohen is a practitioner and educator in the field of culture and diversity. Having worked and lived overseas in Israel, South Africa and Tanzania, she has experience in, and a deep understanding of issues of culture and diversity.

As a result of having lived in countries and working in organizations faced with the task of negotiating complex cultural terrains and managing conflict, her field of professional interest and expertise has been expanded to include the importance of culture and diversity in conflict management which was in fact the impetus for establishing Culture Matters.
