January 20, 2010: “Pitching and Producing Interactive Media” Power Hour – FREE Workshop/Networking Event
Winnipeg

“Pitching & Producing Interactive Media” Power Hour with Ryan Fitzgerald, President & CEO of Rogue Nation Studios and Executive Director of the game development incubator Fortune Cat Games Studio

Thank you to everyone who filled out the CWC Manitoba Power Hour survey. We have been collecting your input and survey says...at the next Power Hour you want to learn more about pitching and producing interactive media.

Join us on Wednesday, January 20 for the “Pitching and Producing Interactive Media” Power Hour. This is a subject our presenter Ryan Fitzgerald, President and CEO of Rogue Nation Studios and Executive Director of Fortune Cat Games Studio, knows extremely well. Ryan will share his experience and answer our questions at the January Power Hour event, which is FREE for CWC members.

Converging technology and the proliferation of content consumed outside traditional broadcast mediums presents: a) opportunities for content creators to tell stories in new ways, reach new audiences and reach larger audiences and b) opportunities for businesses to extend the brand experience and attract and engage the consumer in new ways.

If you have questions about what interactive media is, how to create interactive media content, who you can work with on interactive media projects, how to pitch interactive projects, markets for interactive product, or what funding is available to help you develop and produce interactive projects, then this workshop is for you!

Date: Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Location: The District, 177 Lombard Avenue
Time: 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. (Appetizers and mingling at 5:00 p.m. – cash bar, workshop begins at 5:30 p.m.)

By the way, what a turnout at the first CWC Manitoba Power Hour on October 21!
